Do you want to shop at U.S. Online Stores while in the Philippines? Shipping a product internationally can be a problem and Shipping Cart is our best solution.
When I’m shopping at Amazon.com, I always use a third party shipping service like Shipping Cart. This is definitely the best way to ship your shopping items from US to Philippines as it will help you save a lot of time and money.
Shipping Cart provides a virtual U.S. shipping address – which does all the trick. This allows you to manage your orders from the U.S. and have them ship to your Philippine home address safely. The process would also prevent you from dealing with issues caused by our dearest Philippine Bureau of Customs.
Now Here are the Easy Steps
1. — Create your Shipping Cart account
Head over to www.shippingcart.com and sign up. After creating an account, Shipping Cart will assign a specific U.S. address for you. A different account number is generated per account. From now on, this the shipping address you will use whenever your shopping at Amazon.
When you’re logged in to Shipping Cart’s website, you can easily find your assigned account number and U.S. address at upper left portion of you screen. See the screenshot below.
I had to cover my account number. Shipping Cart provides a different account number per account.
2. — Start your Shopping at Amazon!
Now head over to Amazon.com and start adding items to your shopping cart. If you don’t have an Amazon account yet, then go ahead and sign up.
I actually ordered 3 items – a corset, watch and a headset (All precious gifts for my wife). I spent only $350 for the 3 items on Amazon. If I buy them in the Philippines, they would cost me almost $600.
Once done with your shopping, just proceed to checkout. When amazon asks for the shipping address, it is important that you enter the U.S. address that Shipping Cart provided. Here’s a screenshot below on how to enter the address on Amazon’s website.
Finish the Amazon checkout by completing all the required information like payment method/credit card. After placing your order, you’ll just have to wait until your orders are delivered to the U.S. shipping address you entered.
3. — Confirm the Shipment
Shipping Cart will immediately notify you through email once your orders arrive at their U.S. warehouse. Just log back in to Shipping Cart’s website to confirm the shipment going to Philippines.
If you don’t see any stored items yet, you may need to wait a few more days. Mine took roughly 4 days before it got displayed on their website, so just be patient.
Once they appear, you’ll see all the details under the My Storage tab. Here’s a screenshot below.
On your Storage tab is where you choose your shipment options. You can choose whether to ship them via AIR Cargo or SEA Cargo. And the best part is you can insure the shipment for free up to $500.
As you can see, the 3 items only cost 1,155 Pesos to ship to the Philippines. That includes Customs tax already so you don’t have to pay anything further.
After selecting your preferred shipment options, just hit that button that says – “Ship It.”
4. — Pay the Shipment
Now you’ll just have to choose your payment method and enter your home address. Shipping Cart allows you to pay Cash, Credit Card, or PayPal.
For shipping address, this time be sure to enter your Philippine home address or wherever you want the package to be delivered.
Make sure all the information you enter are correct. Once you’re done, just hit the button that says, “Pay & Ship.” Here’s a screenshot:
Note: If you choose to pay with cash, Shipping Cart will provide a reference number for your payment. You must then go to the nearest LBC branch and tell the staff that you are making a payment for "Shipping Cart." Just provide the reference number to the LBC staff and ready your cash.
After doing all that, you’re done! You’ll just have to wait for the package to arrive at your doorsteps! Shipping Cart will notify you of shipment status updates via email or through their website – which is perfect!
My package actually came earlier than I expected. I ordered the products on Amazon on Aug 6, 2015 and I got them already on Aug 26, 2015. Overall, it took only 20 days! Considering that they were shipped from the States, that’s not bad at all.
I made my wife very happy. It also got me excited seeing her wear that corset! Having my orders delivered on time and in good condition is all that I wanted. I will be using Shipping Cart again when I shop at Amazon!
